Adoption

At this time we require an "In Person" visitation with the selected pet. You must be at least 18 to adopt, and we ask that all dogs be kept either in a fenced in yard, pen, or inside. We also insist that all cats be kept indoors. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in grounds for taking back the adopted animal. An adoption form must be filled out prior to any adoption. You may download the adoption form by clicking here. You MUST live within 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld, O'Fallon, Glen Carbon or Springfield).

Adoption fees are:

• $60 for a dog
• $60 for a cat
• $100 for a puppy
• $85 for a kitten

All pets are up-to-date with shots/vaccinations and have a microchip. If you have any questions about the animals or want to know more about the shelter, call (217) 835-2538.
