- We will be walking in the Springfield St. Patrick's Day Parade. If you would like to join us, you can contact Denise Wake for more information.
- We will have some great bake sales in April!!! Join us Saturday, April 3 at the Litchfield IL. Walmart from 10am-2pm. Stop by, donate or purchase some yummy treats for Easter! We will also be at Sam's Club in Springfield IL on Saturday, April 17 from 10am-2pm.
- Donate your used goods to make a difference for the animals! We are currently accepting donations for our shelter's third annual "Pause for Paws" Rummage Sale to be held June 25 & 26, 2010 in Springfield IL. No adult clothes, computers or computing devices will be accepted. If you would like to donate, please contact: Karen Barnett:

- Nature Select Dog Food Helps the Shelter!
Each time you buy a 40 or 50lb bag of dog food and mention the Benld Adopt-A-Pet Foodraiser Program, Nature Select will donate $5 to the shelter! - Dog training discounts
New owners who adopt a dog from the shelter are entitled to a free evaluation with John Dahman, Master Dog Trainer. The evaluation must take place within one month of adoption. You will also receive a 10% discount for the basic manners group class, if you sign up within one month of adoption. would like to add your name to those who support
specific lifetime residents at the shelter. Pick your favorite,
and sign up – it’s easy and very animal-friendly!
- Are you a real trucker? Do you know one? From
time to time Adopt-a-Pet receives notice of donated
pet-food or supplies availability in considerable quantity
outside
of our mid-Illinois area. If you drive a tractor trailer
rig that we could call on for possible assistance,
we would like to hear from you, and put you on our short
list to
contact as an opportunity arises. We will pay some
expenses, but not enough to get you excited. Thanks for thinking
about the animals!
